![]() ![]() "Now, please, sit down and ask your question." "The Sight sees all, it doesn't hear all," Tammy interrupted. "To ask a question of course," she answered vaguely. "Then you know why we're here?" Sean asked, trying to turn the tables. "Of course I do," Tammy replied matter-of-factly. "Welcome Jill, Sean," she said in her smoky seance voice, "please come in and have a seat." But not Tammy, after piercing through the veil and seeing the other side, it made the small differences between humans seem so trivial. There would be many people in town offended by such a pairing, in their backwards superficial way. And she did hear rumors of the two possibly being involved, the bones told her so. Of course she knew who they were, she knew everybody in town, regardless of how they perceived her. Imagine her surprise when she saw Sean Clapton and Jill Washington walk in together. But this couple arrived just slightly after sun down. She couldn't blame them, after all, no one knew as much about the veil as she did, nor could understand it, but she didn't hold it against them. For some reason, most people have a mystical notion that all the supernatural occurrences don't happen until late at night. ![]() She heard the back door open and witness the two customers' shadows stretch out into the into the parlor she wonder just who could it be? Her regulars usually didn't show up this early. ![]() Or perhaps people were too embarrassed to be seen associating with her art, as the more ignorant people of the town liked to slander it and her. Not that she put out any official rules, but somehow an unspoken understanding passed throughout the town. She had seen a vague glimpse of a couple approaching the house and knew they would enter around back, as the instructions for her seance went. It created just the right ambiance for a seance. Tammy fixed her shawl so it looked perfectly haphazardly placed and shifted the candles around to get the light just right it was important to have herself half-obscured by darkness. ![]()
